  1. Hi, I have to admit I have not been an active member here at all, however...... I have for sale my 2005 Westfield Megablade on DX05 plate, I have owned her for a matter of months enjoying the end of summer before replacing the engine through Andy at AB Performance along with some added extras to make her that bit more fun, she has a huge file with all receipts from new along with magazine articles where featured by a previous owner. I assume most folk already know how the Megablade drives and I am certain mine is would not be a disappointment to anyone. The spec as best I can describe: The car: Colour is Yellow (does have decals from previous owner but only vinyl and can be removed easily). Tyres are Toyo R888 plenty of driving left in them Aero Screen Leather Bucket Seats 4 point harness Gear display Reverse gear Carbon dash Panels are in average condition Road legal Roll bar Mechanics: Fireblade engine supplied November 928cc AB Performance supplied and fitted Dynojet kit AB Performance supplied and fitted New Clutch uprated AB Performance supplied and fitted Sequential gears modified by AB Performance to retain correct direction when switched from old engine to larger cc Suspension fully adjustable Protech all round Disc and pads replaced 6 months ago Battery isolator switch Pipercross induction Akropovic Exhaust (plenty of noise and pops) I literally drove the car a few dry weekends then had work done at AB Performance before garaging her for the cold weather, I have spent more on her than I probably should have for the mileage I've done especially as I am writing this add in the winter and don't feel like I've given her a proper run out yet, as such I am not desperate to see her go, however, for the right money and owner I would say farewell as I want to change the main car and the money always helps. Apologies if my add is sparse in information I am perhaps not a true Westfield owner as my own mechanical knowledge is average, hence all work done by AB Performance, I am sure Andy would take a call and remember the car as he supplied the previous engine that was removed and remembered the car from then. I am looking for a sensible offer I know what I paid and how much I've spent and I imagine most if not all interested party know what a fair price is too. Please feel free to PM me and ask questions I will do my best to answer quickly and accurately Cheers Rich arebull@hotmail.co.uk

  2. 2004 Wide bodied 2.0 zetec on twin 45's. Fantastic spec and condition. House move and loss of garage in coming months forces reluctant sale on my Westfield which was built by late South Wales Area Organiser to fantastic spec and condition. Only the one previous owner since new, very well looked after and upgraded over recent years. The end result is a very well spec'd car in fantastic condition, which would be great on the road or track, although to date has never been tracked. The only reason for selling is potential house move and loss of garage. MOt'd with no advisories this week. Only 5,700 miles since build. The car is fitted with an aero screen but was originally fitted with a full screen. All fixing holes are there for full screen and wipers (hidden under the aero) along with the wiring and loom - making it easy for new owner to switch back if they preferred. Any inspection welcome and I am happy to take people out for a test drive weather permitting. Spec Engine etc 2 litre Zetec on twin Webber 45's. Well balanced and set up. Alpha 3d ignition with added throttle position sensor. 5. I think you'll find if they weigh more than 970g, you're not actually farting! Though it would explain them being covered in cr*p

  8. I have a little Satnav, it sits there in my car A Satnav is a driver’s friend, it tells you where you are. I have a little Satnav, I’ve had it all my life It’s better than the normal ones, my Satnav is my wife. It gives me full instructions, especially how to drive “It’s sixty miles an hour”, it says, “You’re doing sixty five”. It tells me when to stop and start, and when to use the brake And tells me that it’s never ever, safe to overtake. It tells me when a light is red, and when it goes to green It seems to know instinctively, just when to intervene. It lists the vehicles just in front, and all those to the rear And taking this into account, it specifies my gear. I’m sure no other driver, has so helpful a device For when we leave and lock the car, it still gives its advice. It fills me up with counselling, each journey’s pretty fraught So why don’t I exchange it, and get a quieter sort? Ah well, you see, it cleans the house, makes sure I’m properly fed It washes all my shirts and things, and keeps me warm in bed! Despite all these advantages and my tendency to scoff, I only wish that now and then, I could turn the b******* off.
