  1. Personally I would not hesitate to put in an official complaint. If you didn't get his name etc he can be traced through his number plate which shows up on your photo. Also he caused you to stop on a double white line system, obviously a very stupid thing to do. I am not anti police but from what you say he was way out of order and at the very least he needs a talking too.

  2. The beginners guide gives all that is required. Key are 2 spring on carbs/tbs, clearly marked ignition, 1l catch tank, tow points marked on roll bar and being polite to the scrutineers. Even after many years of competing with your car passing scrutineering every time you will still come across a scrutineer with his own pet compliance topic. Roadgoing cars have to have front and back number plates, never been pulled up on size but have to be there. I was pulled up with tyres that slightly protruded from the front cycle wings. These types of problem normally come with a comment and advice but don't tend to stop you competing. Also the camaraderie of the WSCC will have any issues sorted quickly in the paddock and successfully back through scrutineering. It can be a bit daunting the first time through scutineering and I would highly recommend getting one of the local WSCC area speed series guys (Garry or Del) to take a look at your car, their experience will soon identify any potential problems.

  3. Another from a previous MK Indy builder, current Westfield owner that is now feeling a bit inadequate with all the Mega S2000 cars/kits out there

  4. Stranger things have been known ....http://www.itv.com/news/wales/update/2014-12-03/fake-police-officer-fined-after-pulling-over-lone-women/ I'd have a word at my local police station if that were me - firstly for the way he behaved (especially if on camera) and also the concern that he may not be genuine .....

  11. There's more likely to be some classic car specialists who still fix carb. engine cars around you, seek them out, unfortunately I'm down south so don't know anybody up there.
