  4. My 15 year old ETB speedo died last summer, so I thought I better investigate getting it repaired. I rang ETB and they said return it and they should be able to repair it. I sent it back, they took just one day to repair it and send it back to me for the next day. Very impressive service I have to say. They even fitted me a new odometer zeroing button that I managed to loose in the car a few years earlier.

  5. Looking fantastic there, not the first time it's had a Simpsons system, they're superb!

  6. Absolutely agree and that is the point I was trying to make. The alloy rad gave me enough cooling capacity to keep all fluids at the correct temperatures without the need for an oil only radiator.

  7. 1144 pads made a big difference to the feel and the bite of the brake pedal. And of course to the self confidence factor. They feel as though they could now lock up although l do try to avoid tyre flat spots by testing them unecesarily so.

  8. The "mini" Sprint Series award is open to both Novices and Experts. The mini series was introduced in 2013 and was won by an Expert and last year was won by a Novice.

  9. 'Their' must include Experts, otherwise I would have received an award for third in 2014.

  14. A present! (The badge goes with the engine I guess!) (Unfortunately the original site some of us were using to make the different badges seems to have disappeared now, the old links I had just go to the web space hosting company, so I can't make any more!)

  15. No they're not all standardised, though the number of chassis variations has been significantly reduced over what it was. Even the diff cage area isn't standard. The picture shown is the Aerorace chassis, though the Mega S2000 also uses the same rear diff cage, and I would strongly suspect the SEiGHT might too. on the other hand, I've seen photos in recent build threads that show a rear that is slightly more simplified, without quite so much extra bracing. Particularly the extra diagonals.
