  1. I know of late Westfield have been given some flack regarding there parts just wanted to share my experience. Well as most of you know by my somewhat basic questions on here I am totally new to these cars. After lots of searching for the right car and speaking to WF to confirm chassis number etc and giving me a list of things to check ( which they did off there own back for me) I bought myself a beasty. I needed a few bits and pieces to put my own stamp on the car and Kyle took the time to explain all different options etc. all our correspondence was answered very quickly within an Hour normally and everything arrived next day. If I had problems fitting them he would send me pictures and offer the service of a Technical guy at the end of the phone. Now being a somewhat novice on WF this is very nice to know there is someone willing to explain all the ins and outs and doing what they say they can. I have been buying lots of bits lately and Kyle and the team customer service is up there with the best of them. Keep up the good work guys. Ben

  3. Quite agree - we should respect others values when in their homeland if we expect ours to be valued in return. 'When in Rome' cuts both ways. Trouble is, it's hard to shake the legacy of empire isn't it. Ingrained into some people somehow. Can't see my mate being someone who would act that way TBH...but no question there will be plenty who do. I always appreciate anything anyone does for me, especially if they do it well, regardless of who what or where. Makes me cringe the way some folk treat others doing jobs they consider to be menial. A colleague is a fairly frequent visitor to NZ as he has relatives living there......and at one point was really keen on emigrating over there, but after a few long stays, he has changed his mind. Apparently they are prone to being very anti-immigrant (ironic of course, given none of the indigenous population are left - even the Maori are interlopers) and there were a number of less obvious things that he didn't much care for ranging from the standard of driving to their almost totally absent employment contract sytem. I thought about Oz a few years back but too old/poor now to make it happen. I do know someone who moved there many years ago and has had a good life over there, but nowhere is perfect of course. Sounds like a good plan Dibby - hope it all comes together for you as you'd wish mate. Rant away!!

  4. Or "damn this guy's showing me up, I need to find something trivial to get him sacked" Oh wait, let's not get confused with my workplace history

  5. I never travel for work (well, only once - all the way to Amsterdam) and until I win that lottery, no way I will ever make Gold on my own shilling so suspect I will always be a no-status pleb as far as the airlines are concerned. Probably a fair assesment of me full stop to be honest. I have a mate that moved to Doha for work. He loves it out there. For a while at least. Making his pile of cash then coming home in a few years for an early and easy retirement. There's a lovely irony to his situation. He was forced out of his job where I work by a vindictinve, dishonest, corrupt, bully of a manager. His new job put him in charge of an operation with a bigger budget than our entire business unit within our organisation......Oh how we enjoy that.
