  2. There is a reason why the original ones are the colour they are - they go. So much so that someone ( an architect/designer perhaps) has paid more to do them in that colour. Jim.

  3. (You might need to reassess your mpg too Mr Spider....) Another cracking day out - next to no queue at the end of York bypass, great parking at Whitby Abbey (so we could be much admired) and plenty of parking in Helmesley Market Square too. Great scenery, next to traffic on the run down into Helmesley (so we could crack on a bit) and wall to wall sunshine. Happy days with some great mates .

  5. Refurbed* originals every time. The quality of the castings is a million times better than the cheap imports. Its your brakes, it's what's going to give you confidence everytime you hit the pedal. And one day it might save your life. *assuming its a quality refurb!

  9. I'd done 42 by York and it's always been 25 miles from home. I suppose I should get a new speedo, one that I can see.

  10. A good race and some excellent battles down the line, but I can't help but be slightly quizzical over Roseberg's "escape lane" antics - were they genuine mistakes under pressure or were they his "team penalty" for what he did at Spa? Or maybe he just can't face the humiliation of Hamilton actually overtaking him on the track! It will be interesting to see how this duel is going to pan out for the remainder of the season
