As part of the deal to buy the factory Mega S2000 last week, I made a lot of promises to the wife. Promise number 73 was that I wouldn't let Westie ownership hamper our weekends and social life. When I awoke this morning (Saturday) the sun was streaming down and the sky was blue. I tentatively asked permission to have a couple of hours blat, to which she said "if you do we're getting divorced". So, some advice needed from older, wiser members here: Would she be entitled to half the car?

Buy a Kombi through your business and run it for a year or two, then when the depreciation has been off set on your books, buy it personally from your company and do a camper conversion, win win as I see it

Excellent to hear you could tell the difference. I am hoping for something similar on the 18th I wanted to know what a Mega Squirt was so Gary (Kuga Westie) took me out in his. Put it this way... It was utterly Mega and I might have Squirted myself..!

Get rid of the lady. She needs to understand that you work hard to keep her in the manner that she had become acoustemed too and you need a bit of a life yourself. I would remove the passenger seat to hack her off and then say, "right I am off out"

I ****** knew you'd spot that! I even splashed some cleaner down first! but didn't have time to let it dry before taking the shot. (It's why there's a damp patch under the stand) Unfortunately, I was so busy wiping off the blobs of fresh oil - from the spare block - I oiled the bores earlier in the week, I didn't notice the two ruddy great patches nearer the front of the stand that had been there months, from the original strip down of the DS. i only actually registered them when I posted the pic. And I knew what was coming....

Don't worry to much Dave - you can always look at the oil stained floor to remind you that you owned a Vauxhall lump ................I'll get my coat!

That's not a Mercedes thing though, that's a dealership thing. Manufacturers don't own their franchised dealerships and dealerships for most manufacturers are just as bad. The problem is typically British, unrealistic work targets placed on under qualified and underpaid staff, by someone who has a big mouth and no brain, works in an office, see's everything in black/white and thinks they know it all. Same mess the royal mail got into when they used maps and average walking speeds to decide delivery routes, not taking into account factors that only someone who got out and did the job would actually understand.

Gary has correctly identified me as somebody who finds it very hard to pass by a bad suggestion. In my defence I was slightly clattered... Unfortunately neither keep my ears warm and I am a little worried that v02 makes me look like a psychotic hamster... CRS v02 CRS v03
