  7. A mate of mine got hold of a load of "I slow down for horses" signs and paid the local store a visit in the dead of darkness...... all the delivery vans were suitably labelled..... O how we laughed over a couple frothy ones.....

  8. I think I've got it all figured out First need to collect some parts (and now my exhaust has fallen off, that takes priority) before I start messing about with the oily bits. I figure if it was good enough for the past 1000s of miles, it will be good for the next 100s of miles still

  10. This puts things into perspective. Quite frightening really, especially when you look at what we are tipping into the bottomless pit that is Greece. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/8036097.stm

  11. The real answer of course; (the) Wally was taking the photograph assuming he didn't check the exhaust over before going for a blat (like we all do )

  12. Not a good place to leave it, some idiot on a blat could run into it! The car that is not the exhaust can, I take you managed to reunite them, when it had cooled down a bit?

  23. What a weekend, picked up my first westy yesterday then did over 100 miles today taking in Haworth, and some top Yorkshire moors roads. I couldn't believe how many people want to talk to you about the car, even the wife was grinning and that only usually happens at a Next sale!
