  1. Sorry to shout gents, but those of you not paying attention to the latest issue of Westfield World have overlooked the Westfield Amateur Photographer of the Year competition. There's £50 in parts or accessories from Westfield Sportscars available to win each quarter, plus another £100 for the overall 2014 winner - that's a total of £300 the factory is giving away in prizes to WSCC Members. To be blunt here, if you don't take a few seconds to take a photo and send it in to have a chance at winning at least £50 worth of bits, then you're as mad as a box of frogs! I'm going to send in photos every quarter myself! (As a matter of fact, why did I tell YOU? Ignore this and I'll scoop the lot!) You gotta be in it to win it, so pull your finger out and snap today! Download the attachment below for more details and enter today!

  2. I hope you come back Norman, your stories and advice are well received by most. But only you can decide if you can play by the rules. If you dont like the rules and cant play by them then maybe best to move on or get involved and help steer the club in a slightly different direction. But whatever you decide please dont just sit on the side lines taking cheap shots at those that give up precious free time to run the club. Welcome back

  6. I think it's safe to conclude that there are some drivers, bikers & cyclists that shouldn't be allowed on public highways. They may be a minority, but they're always remembered. All we can do to make a difference is by setting a good example!

  7. Just to flip the argument from personal experience as a biker. Why when car drivers see a bike coming do they put their foot down and try to make their car 3 foot wider and swerve allover the road. The majority of bike accidents that I knew about were caused by poor diving standard of car drivers. Yes there are the idiots on bikes who give everyone a bad name but they really are a minority. You will probably find that most riders pay allot more attention to their surroundings. Unless you have ridden a high powered bike you really can't comprehend the capabilities of the machine and what you may think is silly or risky is a planned and executed manoeuvre. Even a cheap bike will out perform most super cars to some degree. It just startles car drivers because their away with the fairies wrapped in a steel bubble oblivious to everything.

  8. best thing with the RHI is that for every KWh of energy you make with a woodchip boiler you get paid - one client of mine had a boiler installed for £80k and is earning £14,000 per anuum heating his house/pool/grarage

  9. If I see a bike approaching I move over and back off This enables them to nip past and they are gone in no time So it's all my fault Live and let live But other car drivers nipping in then slowing me down, they can rot in hell

  10. Not defending *all* motorcyclists, but why can't he/she overtake and pop into the gap? He/she will be long gone before it will affect your journey time...

  12. They are both SE's though, not widebodies? They are both looking very tired though... I'm not expecting much, but the green one looks like it's going to need a complete new body edit: just realised, this is not my wanted thread
