Before I bought my Westfield my main hobby was model making. I've been doing it all my life starting with airfix cars and tanks then moving on to mainly 1/24 scale cars and bikes. I've already made 4 Lotus 7's from this kit, First one built in around 1988 was this, Then this, using the engine, axle and wheels from a Ford Escort Rally Car, And these two which I built with ny daughter, It has always been my intention to model my Westfield, so I got another kit and made a start, As you will all know, there are quite a few differences between Westfields and Lotus', so a few body mods need to be done. Hi Everyone, After what seems like an eternity (6 weeks!), I finally picked up my Mazda starter kit on thursday. Everyone at the factory was really helpfully and I even managed to lose another £600 to Russ in the parts dept at the same time! Just about had time to drop the chassis of at one location, the bodywork at another and they take the van back to work before I had to go out with swmbo. I am going to have a proper look at the kit this morning. I will hopefully start a build thread tonight to detail all my progress and more than likely ask more questions as well. Thanks in advance! i have two sets . and they are reallly really heavy no good for sprinting

I picked it up at a model show a couple of weeks ago, but it should be available in most good model shops

Dave, we (3 Westfields) are going as well but we are doing a road trip around France the week before We are staying at the Bleu Nord camp-site and have paid a little extra to park next to the track.
