  1. Not so much a black art, but it will vary for different packing materials, so always worth confirming with the manufacturer what sort of fill ratio they intend. (you're right though, I suppose if you wanted to get the best result possible, you'd need some trial and error testing, but for most, about right, will probably do!)

  3. Yep, the two things that really, really pay dividends; getting the car rolling roaded, and having the geo done. While in theory both can be done to some extent without the highly expensive equipment that the pros have available. The reality is that you're not just paying for some time on the RR or alignment machine, you're also paying for the operators experience and knowledge. And with a good operator, those are priceless!
