  2. Phew dont some of these threads go on....and on....and on, my two pennorth. Yes it would be great if someone could provide a reliable valuation service, but who? I suffered a total loss on my westy, and with advice from some club members, I negotiated what to me was a good settlement figure and by the time my new westy was on the road i made a few bob. When I renewed my insurance last time I got an agreed valuation with A Plan, supported by photographs. I'm happy with that, is it enough only time will tell. How much a particular westy is worth depends on so many things, how quick do you want to sell it? Time of year, how good the potential buyer is at negotiating compared with the seller. At the end of the day it's what you think it's worth, not what some Joe Bloggs thinks it's worth, however qualified they may be. Dont ask me to justify any of the above or comment further, I dont do long debates, I'm not diplomatic enough.

  3. A chap used to come into our local and he had an aged Impretza. He always claimed his car would go faster than mine and also corner quicker. One day I took him out in it. Never saw him again.

  4. ...an 80mm hole saw I can borrow? and maybe a 50mm too? I want to get started fitting my new dash but it seems a little pointless to fork out £££ to cut 2 holes. In exchange you can have a signed photo of my face.

  6. For any that are turning up to this, there's a bike meeting on from Friday to Sunday so it will likely be rammed with them when we arrive and we won't get access to the paddock until the event is over (not that there will be any space early on anyway!) We are planning on meeting up on the spectator area by Peel corner, there's plenty of parking space up there so we may end up staying there or going down to the paddock later,
