Ha ha, true! My lap times from the video last sept were all around 1m 56s and the few laps I did video yesterday were around 2m 3s so its a good amount slower. But.... I found out this morning the crappy tyres my friend put on the car were £40 each so I'm not too surprised they were lacking in any grip!!

Ditto, hope it's very simple - do you have access to a compression tester? Might help point out something obvious.

Doug - far be it from me to correct you...especially when you are correct. We've added 10 new members in the last week - if only every week was so good! Although there was some understandable scepticism to the switch to member only posting in December, as the minutes of the last committee meeting show, the numbers certainly support the decision (so far). I think the fact that newbies get 30 days / 20 posts for free to see if the club is for them before paying has been very helpful in that respect, as has the members having been so welcoming to everyone, so pat yourselves on the back too. I'm really looking forward to Stoneleigh and meeting as many members as possible - if my avatar doesn't put everyone off!

I have it too For £15 it should take away the worry of getting a Dutton 7 type kit car pay out if I need to claim for total loss But you never know for sure till it happens !!!!!!!!!!!

I have mine on agreed value with Adrian Flux, I figured a few pics and 15quid was a small price to pay compared to arguing the toss on market value should the unfortunate happen.
