  2. I struggled with thisone when I fitted mine .. found this most useful http://www.nsu4.nl/english/e1batterymasterswitch.html its in dutch but google translate works wonders But effectively, I did the following Battery Positive to FIA switch (large battery type cable) FIA Switch to Starter Motor Solenoid (large battery type cable) 1.5mm2 loop from contact 1 to terminal going to the solenoid 1.5mm2 with resistor inline to earth (I have some of these spare bought a pack from a electronics supplier for less than the cost of 1 from Demon Tweeks etc -- happy to send you one if you need it) I then chopped the lead from the ignition switch that goes to the +ve on the coil .. the end coming from the ignition switch was connected to the FIA switch terminal 2, then a new piece from the other side of terminal 2 of the FIA switch back to the coil +ve not sure that is any clearer - but the link is pretty good Just realised - this is exactly what Hammy just said~! doh ... anyway the circuit diagram in the link is still worth a look at!

  3. The MT75 is a good box but crap ratios. If you are going more tarck use, then stick with what you have and keep an eye out for a type 9 bgh box. They do come up but you will pay £750 upwards for a used one. Bellhousings can be bought and the prop can be altered easily. What get expensive is if you want it all now.

  4. Cannot believe any member is slagging the show off. You`ve probably all got 200 other channels and an off button. As for the licence payers money....well the fee is 5/8 of f@%k all and there`s plenty of other rubbish on the BBC to moan about. The show doesn`t claim to be educational or interlectual.....it`s all a bit tongue in cheek & if you take it seriously as a piece of journalistic TV............. ......Take up embroidery or turnover or turn off. Sell your Westie and vote for the Green Party..... It`s what it is........fun Rant over Awaiting fallout........

  5. SHMBO is getting a bit peeved off now (even though I explain this is surely better than me spending every night in the pub or all night in the garage ) and the kids keep getting upset when I explain Lego is for adults not for children… …………. But I am getting there …. V8 ducted nose cone (could not manage to union jack ) V8 bonnet Rear arch with stone guards:
