We did it again (as a Yorkshire C2C) this year although not quite in the same format. It was blazing hot both days. The editor says my article may appear in the next magazine. And thanks to Si for some duplication of the route -your baby lives on!! Rory's Dad

The Machine Mart item is indeed the same as the Bulk Buy unit. I think they're about £90. We paid £60 which included shipping, dock fees and VAT. Mine is still going strong but some have had to replace the seals. Not a big job. However some of those I've seen were covered in dust and grit so that may have been the problem. No discount vouchers lately, I think they've stopped them. However I'll let you know if one arrives in the next month or so.

Sorry to be a party pooper Norman, but that's just bad programming/incorrect use of the kit! Could have happened in a "race" situation with analogue gauges too. We all know how hard it can be even registering an analogue dial. Your method helps to a point, but then so does the bright flashing warning on my "digital" dash when something has gone out of range.
