I personally think this sums up all politicians of all parties. One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you; I'm doing community service this week.' The florist was pleased and left the shop. When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door. Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you; I'm doing community service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen doughnuts waiting for him at his door. Then an MP came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The MP was very happy and left the shop. The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen MPs lined up waiting for a free haircut. And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it. BOTH POLITICIANS AND NAPPIES NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON!

The problem was he publicly ridiculed others for doing the same as he was doing. Illegal - no, hypocritical, yes, morally wrong - yes. I've no problem with a bit of tax mitigation, but to reduce it to a level which was below the lowest earners was simply taking the p***. I do think this country over-taxes significantly, but that **** was taking the p*** out of all other hardworking taxpayers.

Clare posts in other topics on the forum too, so the link in her signature will always bring people back to this topic/thread. I'm guessing that Clare would be happy for people to get quotes from her rather than everyone going through their local offices, as she's making the effort to post here (thus promoting their services) and may also get 'recognised' for business that she provides quote for (and all credit to her for joining the club and posting here too).
