Ok - looks like we will have to set a date for this - does mid April sound Ok? (This would allow us to get our first race meet of the year at Silverstone out the way)..............and hopefully some 'balmy' weather! Will keep this thread updated with possible dates so a mutual agreement can be made. we look forward to meeting you all.

This is going to surprise a lot of people on here but having look over both those ads I'd go for the CVH! Its 2K cheaper looks more track focused. Run it for a while and you can always chuck in a Zetec later on.

You may or may not have noticed that there is now a new "Events Calendar" menu item. Up to now, this feature has only been used to display Members Birthdays in the right-hand colum of the forum but with Summer just around the corner, we felt it would be best utilised this feature advertise what events are coming up next. We have four calendars and they are as follows: Birthdays - This is automatically updated from your profile information and is not viewable in the Advanced calendar view. WSCC Local Events - This is to advertise events local to you whether they be Meetings or Run-outs. These are updated by A.O's only and are moderated. WSCC Events Calendar - To let you know what the club is organising and when it's happening - This is only updated by Admin. Speed Series Calendar - A full season listing of what races are being run, where they are and where you can find the regs when they are available. You can choose which Calendar to read from the drop down menu just to the right of todays date. We hope this new feature will be able to help you plan you own Events easier. Helps a lot if you've got a friendly/enthusiastic MOTer at a decent garage; not 'cause they're going to miraculously bend the rules, for many of our cars this will be one of few occasions when they're up on the ramps with an experienced and hopefully knowledgeable third party casting an eye over them. It's always one of two mechanics at the same garage that do mine, and both know to point out and mention anything they spot that they think might need attention, even if it's not on the MOT and not actually a problem yet. Gives me a bit more peace of mind, and helps on the preventative maintenance side.

Certainly the coolant as well as the other usual checks, fuel and air filters. *all IMHO naturally

Oh, you mean the good old days, when you could set a new circuit record but still get only 16 SS points because you were alone in your SS class. Or when you could get anything between 12 and 17 points for the same drive, dependent only on whether Andy Rushworth turn up at the event. Meritocracy ruled . . . . . . . . . . . . I don't think.
