  1. I'll sign it but question why we're petioning for a cut in fuel tax when we should be DEMANDING this service is funded 100% by the government. We don't raise money to run the road ambulances, the cost is met from the NHS budget.

  2. Top summary, fully in agreement... Certainly a couple of my pals who are traders won't touch kit cars of any description with a barge pole..... As with everything caveat emptor, but buying a kit car whether from a dealer or privately is potentially a far more fraught exercise requiring IMHO a better technical understanding and a different attitude from a tin top purchase. I would suggest that in the case of a Westie, buying a "well known" car through these hallowed pages is by far the best way for a first time Westie owner who wants to dip their toe into a secondhand one.....

  3. To be honest I have no idea why a trader would want to deal in kit cars made by individauls in their own garages, the pitfalls of mods, changes and lash ups are out their I am sure , while there are loads of beautifully made cars to great spec , how you pick out some dodgy "upgrades" would be beyond me. I bought a factory built model thinking it would be a) reliable and b) know what bits were on it. Suffice to say when the ECU burnt out it was related to resistance /impedance /injector issues that were incorrectly builtand specified from it's inception. I know the provenance of what I sell , but kit cars

  5. Just spent an hour watching a Williams being built from scratch in time lapse.....I may need a bigger hard drive.... From what I have seen looks like a lot of repeats at the moment....hopefully will get better....

  6. Thanks Guys I am sure the wife will pick up something, that old saying "as one door closes, another one opens" is what I keep saying to her. Being made redundant feels really personal IMO, and hurts. I just hope that she picks something up at the right time, which will enable me to get the build finished without too much scrutiny
