  1. I'm afraid that show is like a laxative - it irritates the s**t out of me. 1) The "profit" they make is a loss every time unless Ed is a slave and works for free, and the workshop and all the tools were nicked 2) The fat jumped-up t**t makes me think that my defence if I shot him would be that it isn't illegal to discharge a firearm into a public nuisance 3) The bit where he "sells" the car is so contrived it hurts 4) It patronises me and my intelligence - unforgivable in my books Off for a beer now...

  2. Just heard back from Stoney he's booked the day off. Talk about keen, I only told him about it this morning .

  3. Fixed that for you - wrong way around. I don't care how important or unimportant a person you are - the law must apply equally to all or it means nothing. They obviously feel, after forcing the Sunday Times to hand over emails between them and his ex-wife, that they now have enough evidence to proceed - in which case, rightly so. Not saying he and / or she are guilty or innocent - only that they have cases to answer. But it's a cautionary tale about brassing off your partner!

  4. Liked it so much yesterday - manged to get chance to go out again today - sun, snow, and no traffic - brilliant. Looks like you southerners are getting the snow tomorrow - so we all expect some good pics of you out in it!! Dave

  5. flicked onto that and then off after a few minutes. Talk about dumbing down tv ... that takes some beating.

  6. Well I have given up, in today's current world, how hard you work and how useful to society that work is seem to be in inverse proportion to what you are paid :bangshead: It reminds me of the last days of the Romans before they became extinct, so just hoping I can last long enough not to see that. My solution would be to throw the current crop of Politicians out on all sides and make it a compulsory erequirement that to get into politics you had to have had a "real" job
