I only spoke to him 3 weeks ago about setting my car up for me, he said he’d suffered multiple strokes caused by his Covid vaccination(s) and that he was hopeful of getting back to work at some point soon. He was however good enough to talk me through my ideal setup even though he couldn’t help. How very very sad. 😔 -
Very happy with mine, depends very much what you are after obviously. Have been a passenger in other car engined types but never driven them. Not sure if that’s any help? I’m a native of sunny Somerset as well, you’d be welcome to come and look at mine if it might help?

So sad to hear this, John. He and his Dad sorted out the suspension on my old (factory built) car about the time I started in the Speed Series. -

jeff oakley replied to Richard (OldStager)'s topic in Stuff & Nonsense
you misunderstand me on this. I was referring to the men who had to fight to get the vote for every man and women who died fighting for the right. This was seperate to the wars fought for differrent reasons It was only in 1918 that every man over the age of 21 got the right to vote, before that it had been the richest, then it was those who owned a property. Women of wealth got the votes first and eventually all got it but many did die over many years in doing so. It was seen as a great step that each citizen has an equal vote one which we no longer see as a privilege and one around the world people still fight for free elections where everyone regardless gets a vote. If they did put none of the above it might well shock the political leaders just how bad they are -

Yet more iPhone questions. Resolved.

OK, well just to close this post off. As I have been taking yet more pics during the course of the day, I have now come in for the day and just looked on iCloud, all the pics I was emailing yesterday are there together with today's pics. So it look like nothing was amiss with my settings here, but seemingly a backlog in the Apple system slowed everything down. I will just have to wait a further 24 hours in future so as to be sure they appear on the cloud. Matter resolved. -

Blatman replied to Richard (OldStager)'s topic in Stuff & Nonsense
Whilst I whole-heartedly agree with the sentiment... people fought and died for "freedom" for want of a better, dare I say lengthier sentence. That includes the freedom to decline the opportunity to vote if one so chooses. I do think that voting should be compulsory with a "none of the above" option so that there can be some legitimacy to the result and better rules around how we go about the democratic process, IE with a bit of irony! -
Ok, no worries.

I am saddened to be reporting that Mathew Gilmour, owner of Procomp Motorsport, sadly passed away last week. He had been suffering with poor health for a while and eventually passed away as a result. For those that didnt know of Procomp, Matt and his late father Ivan, were renowned and respected Westfield and kit car in general preparation specialists. They helped me immensely with my Speed Series winning Westfield whilst I owned it. RIP Matt -
Thanks chaps, found this Sooo useful. The only way I ever found out what done what was to take the fuse out and see what didn't work anymore. This will make life easier 👍
