  2. I managed a great day out today. Fantastic weather and still surprisingly warm. A rare chance just to get out on my own and I managed just short of 100 miles. Headed to the North Cornish coast and stopped at Widemouth bay for lunch. then on the coast road to Crackington Haven and a stop on the cliff top then on to Boscastle, Tintagel and the B road blast back to home. All cleaned and ready for the next run out. So far since September I’ve managed 800 miles which I think is great for this time of year. No plans to SORN it yet!

  3. And many thanks to you Kevin for organising it. Great fun and oh-so close to a trophy...... of course, they did have to pay £150 each for that 6 seconds!

  4. Thanks for the advice Dave. It was only a light bump to be honest, but we have checked everything else very very thoroughly.

  6. He did, along with his dad Laurie(sp?). They had a good look at my car, then a chat with @IanK (Bagpuss) and myself about the S2000's inside the pub. Its funny, someone remarked about you not being there, and I said I bet you'd got stuck doing a late one!

  7. Fantastic. As long as there's no salt on the roads (and I can't imagine Cornwall getting much) you could be out all thru the winter---just need winter jacket, gloves, hat , Helly Hansen thermal vest, heater. On second thoughts I am talking about Scottish winter runs and you'll be fine in Cornwall

  10. No such thing I think it depends how much 'slower' you are prepared to be as to how many sets of wheels / tyres you need. For me, a set of road tyres will cope with any conditions, are more fun, cheaper, and won't be much slower (certainly for track days - competition use debatable, as a few seconds a lap is a big chunk) than the 'optimal' tyre for any circumstance. Saves me a lot of hassle and brain power!
