Sorry I've not been too active over the last few days, spend far too much time in front of a PC during the week so try and stay away at the weekends... Seems any questions have been quickly answered though, thanks chaps. I have a SanDisk card in my camera too and it works great. As a side note, we stock a case at £30 RRP (minus 15% for you chaps) if it's of use. I got one for myself and it seems nicely made. It's a soft case rather than hard, but there seems to be another brand / model available with an ABS shell that I'll get in to have a look at all. Barry Ashcroft Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Adam any ideas why my camera keeps locking up with this on the screen, only thing I can do is to pull the battery, I've also tried to update it although I think it has the latest firmware already as it works with the app, when I go through the update process at the very end it just goes straight back to the start screen again.

AdamR Posted February 18, 2013 Author Posted February 18, 2013 Hi Barry, I haven't seen that before with the HD3. Sorry about that! I would recommend the following: - Make sure the battery is charged adequately so it can run itself for ~20 mins. - Remove the memory card and insert it to your PC by itself. - Copy the files from the memory card to a folder somewhere on your PC. - Then, format the card (right click, format, quick format is ok). - Run the update process from the start. - Check the camera works ok without the app. - If yes, add the app and then check the camera again. If no, give me a shout back and I'll do some digging! Also happy to send over my version of the firmware for you to try if that doesn't work. One thing to note is that, just in case you aren't already, you should use the black USB lead supplied with the camera. I had one for my phone and for some reason it wasn't compatible and gave errors. Cheers, Adam
