cidersurfer
We were talking about whisky in work before Xmas when one of the lads admitted to having a few bottles 'put away'. When we asked what sort of thing he rang home to check a few dates and labels with his wife. He has quite a few but I was particularly interested in The Macallan he has. He has two bottles from 1946, which after a quick web search we found out were worth about £5k each!
Norman Verona
They're not for drinking, only buying and selling.
Graham0127
If it`s worth £5k as a `drink` & not for it`s `label` I would open it and enjoy. £5000 is not life changing money but a drink worth that amount on merit is surely worth enjoying. Stick the other bottle on Ebay if you`re not that impressed and buy the wife some hot undies !! I`d help pass judgement in both departments....................
