markc555 Posted January 10, 2013 Share Posted January 10, 2013 I would call it an upgrade on a Golf GTI. You can't have driven the 2 back to back then. Assuming they're the same model year, the Golf is nicer to drive and much nicer to be in. The Octavia is a fair bit bigger if space is a priority.
