Its not so much when your moving,

although the turbulence sprays water on the back of your head  :0  :0

Its more when your stationary  ;)

have seen people use a golfing brolley resting between roll bar and windscreen over the car in traffic jams etc  :)  :)

Something to keep the seats covered when parked and you should be okay  :t-up:

Even if you`ve got a hood your still going to get wet, you`ll get better visibility (no steaming windows etc) driving without a hood in the rain

Might be worth investing in some waterproof pants for comfort though.

:sheep:

7.30 am Sunday knutsford. We will need to be on the road by 7.45-8am to miss the queues. Staying overnight and the beer is already in the car

A bit of rain shouldn't matter(certainly won't be the 1st time mines been full of water)

The ever changing Midlnads weather forecast is now for a fine Sunday & Monday with highs of 20 degs  :D  :D

Scooby buy yourself some bungee straps and a car cover - not for driving - but for parkin up and you also have yourself a "tent"      :D  :D

*cough* But what about the beer  :D  :D  :D  and disposable BBQ

Studbuckle - if your passenger is human then the entrance fee isn't tooooooo much, can't remember.

But if your passenger is a pack of beer you don't have to pay  :D  :D  ;)    If you tell them you are camping when arriving at the entrance gate, they charge you a camping fee, so hide your tents out of sight in your car, not that I condone such actions, obviusly.

There are toilets and showers situated within staggering distance of the stand  :D  ;)  Not quite Savoy standards but serviceable and wet.  :D  :D  ;)

Mike. Let me know. I'm leaving my house at 6.25am :0

Studbuckle. Disposable bbq is a good option (unless one of the mobile tent boys offers up a proppa bbq!!!;)
