Blatman
And that's absolutely fine. If they look good and you want them, great go right ahead. Aesthetically, they are not to my taste, but then I have a lime green car so I'm hardly an arbiter of automotive sartorial elegance Remember Newtons 3rd Law of Motion, every action has an equal and oppiste reaction... Tigger
And that's absolutely fine. If they look good and you want them, great go right ahead. I've never understood that one, I think newton is wrong If every action had an equal and opposite reaction, how the hell can anything move If you push forward through the air with 100bhp, and the air pushes back with equal force then surely you would be stuck on your drive all day :d Just my 2p worth on the world as we know it. Oh and btw, carbon whiskers / Canards or whatever you want to call them look cool. Tiggs
s2rrr
Conversely if everyone accelerated towards the West at exactly the same time we could spin the world a bit quicker or slow it down can't remember which way it spins but you'll get my drift. My canards/whiskers currently called dive planes for the bad weather probably have no function whatsoever but I like em and thats what matters. I would guess they probably do create some aerodynamic function but it would be so small as to be of no use, unless you are a formula 1 team that is. Now if I lost 5 stone in weight that would really do the business. But would I feel better being a racing snake ( quite probably). Norman Verona
Now if I lost 5 stone in weight that would really do the business I may need a bit more than that! I did lose a lot of weight last year but have put it back on due to sitting around not working with bad backs and thumb. They all laugh at me with the amount of money I spent on reducing the weight of the car when I could lose 6 stone to get back to my wedding day weight (12 stone), which would probably save me money. stephenh
Wedding day weight!! That would be a saving of 4 stone in my case.
Norman Verona
I've just been boll er, told off. The day we were wed I was 9 stone 8 lbs and HM was 8 stone 9 lbs, easy to remember. I was a skinny little runt whereas I'm now a huge fat lump. So, she got double what she paid for.

Graham0127
From what I`ve read the whiskers should be mounted with the bottoms at lower wishbone level and tops directing airflow over headlamps.Probably make no difference to us mere mortals, but who cares .....look COOL
johngill
Wanted to start with shallow angle and see how it goes. Today first nice day got car out to test canards and new cam its on on rollbar and it stalled and now wont start. 99% sure its the odyssey battery (dreaded click click from starter an 3hour charge made no difference tried it on other car and same result) which is 'getting on' so ordered a new one. Pic is in sun before disaster struck
