Essex Area Monthly Meeting, Sunday 8Th July 2012

Better communication with the Essex members is something I'm trying to work on at the moment to improve ways of contacting people about events but the best I've got for now is the forum

I'd ultimately like to get some ideas from people as to how best you'd all like to be kept up to date about future events. I know other areas all use different methods such as text messaging, facebook, twitter, email and their area website etc etc etc. Obviously however not everyone may want bombarding with texts and emails or have access to facebook so I'd welcome some ideas from you all.

Obviously that doesnt really help us for this weekend, but hopefully most of us will see this thread or will be sat at home watching the GP anyhow

Cambridge area have Text alerts for absolutely anything that goes on up there, funnily enough I'm on there text alert scheme. Yes Mark something like that for us would be good.

As i am fairly new to our monthly meets, if it's raining tomorrow do people not turn up or just come in there tin tops ?

If it's raining turing up in the tin top will be allowed the meet will still go ahead and i'll be there.
