flux quoted 180 and quickly came down to 140 when I asked why it had increased from previous 7 type cars I had had,

frank pickles came in at 480, after I had picked my jaw off the floor I quickly hung up

A plan who I had used last year on my tiger were really helpful and called me back after a couple of hours and got it down to 110 on a 2000 mile per year policy, with legal and an agreed valuation, and 90 days overseas cover

Worth a phone call to A plan

Dom, say you're satisfied with AF after you've tried to cancel or claim.

cant say ive had too bad an experience on that front tbh. but ive not had to claim from them. other correspondance was ok but they did alot of it (renewal etc) via email which suits me. Cancelling was straight forward as it was renewal time. mid term their charges are alot.

In the end A plan got me a better deal this year that fits in with me trying to sell the westy so i wont need it too much. Flux was ok on this front. Franck pickles was a good renewal quote if i wasnt selling so thimbs up to them too.

Thanks again for the positive feedback :t-up:

Just to let everyone know if you are looking to get a quotation from A-Plan you need to contact the Thatcham branch, this where myself and the team are situated that have the specialist schemes and give the WSCC discounts!!

Please call us on 01635 874646 and we would be happy to help.

Thanks

Clare

Just spoke to Henry @ A Plan, great guy to deal with and understands his kit cars.

Price was around £100 less than Footman James, A Plan cam in around £200 for 2000 miles, £150 excess; Footman James wanted £330!

Happy with that, in fact my insurance is now cheaper than the 12 months car tax!

Cheers

Dan
