Mark (smokey mow) Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 yes car is still not well from trip home from stoneleigh show I hadn't realised he'd had a problem again? Nothing too problematic i hope? Quote
Pistol Pete Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 How were the stones at honnington this year pete? Quote
pete g Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 bl**** horrible look for yourself spun on them and the protective film was ripped off after 1st run Quote
Pistol Pete Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 Lovely recovery being lined up for the gate once you'd stopped spinning. Yep, tis a shame with the stones as it a very smooth flowing circuit. Quote
Pistol Pete Posted May 19, 2012 Author Posted May 19, 2012 A good turn out of eight cars to todays blat, well done ben for finding us at west mersea. Will try and arrange for a sunday next time. Quote

Johnny88 Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Thanks to all for a very enjoyable run today, just got to remove the mud now! Quote
BEN99W Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Yes it was great to get out for a group blat (when I finally caught up with you all). Just what I needed to blow away the cobwebs. We got lucky with the weather too. I got home and cranked up the barbeque. Ben Quote
Fat Thor Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 I thought it was tomorrow..... I'm such a fool!!!!! Quote
cliffg Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 Great run, thanks for organising Pete Phil and I got the temperature thing sorted. It seems that some anti-freeze had leaked into the sender connector and increased the resistance that was sent to the gauge - hence 120 degrees! Laptop said it was 104 degrees at tickover. So fiddled with sender connector and all was well again Cliff Quote
Pistol Pete Posted May 20, 2012 Author Posted May 20, 2012 Sorry about my changing of dates. Glad everyone enjoyed, once we left maldon and until we got to tiptree I had no idea where we were, as you may have noticed when we nearly visited the farm! Good call on the barbie. Glad your coolings sorted, I was ready to find you dropped off the tail of the group half way through. Quote
