Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Bad luck, hope you're feeling better soon. It's a weird thing the nerve damage, are they hopeful it'll wear off/recover OK?

Mark (smokey mow)
Thanks for the comments feeling a bit better now having been asleep for the last 5hours catching up on that I missed last night. Hopefully no permament damage, but I'm sure time will tell. I'd love to say it was alcohol related but alas I hadn't touched a drop All I did was get up in the night for a pee
Pistol Pete
That will be one people question when they look through stats of causes of serious injury in a few years time. Glad your feeling better.

Tigger
Guy’s, I’m ever so sorry but I may now not be at the meet tomorrow In the early hours of this morning while at home I had something of an accident and knocked myself out When I came round I was laying in a very large puddle of my own blood, with my head having been one of the first things to hit the ground and my tiled floor (hard). I’ve not been long back from A&E and the prognosis is generally good I’ve had a CT scan and luckily the wealth of my Westfield Knowledge appears undamaged They’ve patched and glued back together the 3 holes in the back of my head so all good there and I‘ve thankfully retained my good looks too, although obviously as I lay here now I have something of a headache Only PITA is that I appear to have some nerve damage as a consequence of the concussion which is causing considerable discomfort with increased sensitivity in the thumbs of both hands, basically ATM blowing on the back of my hand feels like I’m being scolded , typing is painful and is being done with my little fingers which still seem to work ok. I haven’t tried driving yet but rest assured that if I can be at the Lodge I will be. I‘m so annoyed, it’s a cracking weekend and I was so looking forward to putting some more miles on the car, yet now I’m not and am stuck here. If I don’t see you (but I hope I will) have a good day tomorrow Mark Hi Mark, Hope you're ok mate, cracking excuse for not coming I tell you what, I'll make a special effort to come in your place and I may even bring the westie out to strech it's legs Tiggs
