"Then and Now" Photo thread

Cleggy the Spyder Man

Recommended Posts

Just been shuffling through my old photos of the car looking through Photobucket - was gob smacked at just how changes have been done in the three years of ownership

Two ways of looking at the reason for the changes

1. Bought the wrong car

2. Needs and interests changed during ownership

3. Enjoy the modification element

I convince myself that I am more point 2-3 but hey ho  :D

Now watch the chrome disappear and the ruination of a perfectly good road car

So my current car started as:

OrangeWesty001.jpg

which had

AVO's, diffusers, new areo screen, klaxon horn, orange scuttle added

Up-gradeitus016.jpg

we then took out the CVH for a zetec on 45's

EngineSwap032.jpg

This went through a few ECU's and a few sets of 45's to get more and more out of it, but we then completely rebuilt it.

rebuildjune06005.jpg

with lots of new strengthening and a cage and a sccr box and alloy bell housing and well just loads of stuff but looked like this

backontheroad250307001com.jpg

we went to le mans with these stickers

lemans072.jpg

We then treated it to revolution 4 spokes

Insurancepictures08001.jpg

Then a new zetec that made a bit more power

carbsetup001.jpg

Then on to Fuel injection

The finally some lighter wings and matching protective  guards....PlaysKool and a 5 speed SCCR box swap from the 4 speed, cortina uprights and new hubs/bearings and brakes, as it is today

hey mark, next time if you advertise your car-show the step by step pics that youve gone through. Amazing to see what youve done to it, and also what moneys been spent on it!!!!
