mark.anson Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 It's a winner. Well done to Nick and the SSOC for going for it. Agreed. I think this move will be great for the Speed Series. Well done to the SSOC.. Right. Now to go through the previous years results to see who was quickest. Quote
stewart pickles Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 especially in E thanks Rushpuff wouldn't worry about rushpuffs times guy hussy kicked his a few times and that wasn't a westfield but was in class e within the last 5 years Quote
mark.anson Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 especially in E thanks Rushpuff wouldn't worry about rushpuffs times guy hussy kicked his a few times and that wasn't a westfield but was in class e within the last 5 years Maybe, but the quickest times will probably have been in 2008 before he moved to class G. Dont know what year it was when Guy last ran in E. Anyway class G has Rushpuffs and Barneys times to beat! Barneys 2009 Thoresby time could be a challenge. Quote
Terry's Trophy 07 Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 especially in E thanks Rushpuff wouldn't worry about rushpuffs times guy hussy kicked his a few times and that wasn't a westfield but was in class e within the last 5 years Maybe, but the quickest times will probably have been in 2008 before he moved to class G. Dont know what year it was when Guy last ran in E. Anyway class G has Rushpuffs and Barneys times to beat! Barneys 2009 Thoresby time could be a challenge. 2005 that would be the year he won the overall championship in a striker before he was banned and moved out to class j Quote
davidgh Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 No, he competed in Class A in 2005. He was allowed to run in Class E in 2006, but he won that as well. That's when he was banned Quote

stewart pickles Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 El tel could have some stiff competition next year...who knows what's going on in garages all over the country??? how long have i been telling you honda power was the future paul as for target times good move and next years fixtures still no cadwell but silverstone great effort from nick and the ssoc Quote
MartinH Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Target time system is a great idea and as Nick said it will mean the number of entrants in a class is no longer a factor in points scored. The fact the Andy was quick in E or Terry in H will make no difference, whatever the Target times they will be the same for everyone. Might have an effect on the overall championship though This should prove to be a big step in the Speed Series development well done Nick and the Team. Quote
Mark Stanton Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 QUOTE That's when he was banned No-one has ever been banned from taking part in the SS Stew don't ever build your hopes up for Cadwell there always seem to be ongoing problems with that event, be it costs, dates, organisation and often all 3 race events generate a lot more money than sprints and money is what counts Quote
