The thread says "CARS", 2 wheel transport isn't a car :)

I'm the same, though, I couldn't even begin to remember the cars I've used. Being in the motor trade I didn't technically own them, just used them. I would take something, use it for a few weeks or months and then sell it.

I can tell you the best (if I haven't already done so)

Alfa-Romeo 1300 GT Junior

Cortina Lotus

Lancia Integralle

Porsche 911 3.3 Turbo (all black)

Caterham 7 BDR

I'm sure I've forgotten one, but that'll do for now.

Peugeot 306 D Turbo S (Loved this car) died after 20000 miles of notyhing but topping up with fuel, 210k on teh clock in the end, was a great first car! The Wee Beasty, died of a broken gearbox and radiator, scrapped!

nissan micra 1.3 auto, had a cvt transmission, sounded like a moped, went like one aswell. The Micra Of Love/Doom, depending on my mood, transmission died again, only had 80k on teh clock, werent impressed as was menna be bullet proof.

citroen zx d turbo, some ****s mugged me of my keys and then proceeded t osmash it uip and try set it on fire, sent it to the scrapyard after that, was nicknamed the boat cause it was so comfy inside.

current drive is a escort estate in burgandy red, boring car, cant stand it, and the transmission ios going on this one aswell, i have no luck with it it seems! nicknamed the prostitute for obvious reasons.

the list of cars i want to own is much more interesting...

Austin Mini, VX Cavalier Sports hatch, Fiat Panda(I know), Mk1 XR2, Audi 80, Lada Riva (before I got married and traded Audi for deposit on first house), Lada Niva, Citroen BX 16v, Mk 2 XR2, VX Corsa TD, VX Astra 2.0 Sport, VX Vectra SRi, Nissan Terrano, Saab 9-5 Aero estate (x2), BMW 320d M Sport.

Ive also had a few 2nd car runarounds. Mk1 VX Astra estate, Mk2 VX Cavalier, Ford Fiesta Zetec, Ford Fusion, Discovery TDi200, and currently on a 5yr old VW Caddy van.

Toys over the years 10 years have been Mk1 Golf GTi, Reliant Scimitar, Porsche 924s and lastly the Westy.,

The Ladas were ultra reliable and excellent works vans when renovating the house. Used them as vans, abused them in general and only lost a few hundred on the Niva. Made a profit on the Riva.

Datsun 100A - Fastest top speed per litre till I blew the engine up!

Truimph Dolomite 1500 - One with the most wood

Rover 220 GSi - Within a month the head gasket went and the engine melted

Ford Scorpio 2.9 Ultima - ugly frog eyed thing but no doubt no car I have since had the same luxury and so quiet inside

VW Passat 1.8 20v Turbo - not as quick as it ought to be but lovely power delivery
