Mini Cooper S 1293cc (high comp. pistons, 40 thou oversize IIFC)

Ford Escort GT (Just got married!)

MGB GT with Osselli weber carb and head

Mini 1275 GT with Plus-pack S works engine conversion

Rover SD1 V8

Ford Capri 2.8i

ditto when the first got stolen!

then when the second 2.8i got stolen (!):

I honestly think my shameful Hyundi Pony is one of the worst cars so far, unless anyone has any other ideas?

Total respect for that one !   :D  :D

Dont get carried away with ideas of grandure! It was about 10 years old and had had a hard life, so was a bit scruffy. Nevertheless, it made a great noise when pressing on, and on one corner in particular on the Stone/Uttoxeter Road I could always get the backend to hang out quite controlled in second gear! It was a novel experience with such a wide and heavy car. :p  :p  :p

And the induction roar from the 3 twin choke Webbers had to be heard to be believed, if you gave it full throttle and reasonable revs.
