LordB
Provisional dates for the 75th running of Le Mans is the 16th / 17th June 2007. For those interested, the Yorkshire and Manchester convoy to Le Mans will leave Hull Docks on Monday the 11th June @ 1900hrs and will be returning on the 1900hrs ferry departing from Zeebrugge on the 19th June, arriving back in Hull @ 0800hrs on the 20th June. The cost per person and car on the 30/9/6 was £118.50 per person, this cost will increase the later you leave your booking. We will be making an overnight stop on the 12th June somewhere halfway to Le Mans and staying in a hotel on the 18th June on the way back. Details on where we will be staying and website links will follow. The campsite remains the same as 2006 but deposits will have to be paid by Jan 2007 and the balance sometime in March / April. martini mike
I noticed that the idea of going to the historic race has been muted a couple of times. Bad news is that there is no historic race for 2007, next one is 2008. Still waiting conformation of camping costs provisional costs are. 1x person in tent 6 nights including Sunday Gala dinner = £75.00 2x persons sharing a tent including 2 Gala dinners= £128.
