Buzz Billsberry
For the few of you who haven’t paid Mike Dixon for the camp site accommodation can you please NOT send him any money this week. You are now required to pay the outstanding balance to Mike on the day we catch the ferry and in Euros. Please note the campsite accommodation costs do not include electricity hook up at the Château camp. You will need to inform Dominique (owner) should you require this & pay for the consumption on the day you leave. To be honest most of you will not require electrical hook up. For things like electric shavers etc these plugs are usually available in the wash areas. As for battery chargers, ladies toys, hair dryers (Muttley) etc I’ll be hooked up so just come and ask for a plug in and I’m sure they’ll be a few others as well! Driver briefings For all those travelling on the Monday night ferry, and before we board we are normally hanging around for an hour in the port so I will be holding a short drivers briefing on driving etiquette etc(no smart comments please!), info on SatNav routes etc, etc. It’s important as a driver that you attend this meeting. All drivers please read: You will need: GB stickers Spare bulb kit Head light converters Warning Triangle Copy of your driving licence Copy of your V5 Insurance documentation Breakdown assistance (Muttley) Driving in France HYPERLINK "http://www.theaa.com/staticdocs/pdf/allaboutcars/overseas/aa_compulsory_equipment.doc" http://www.theaa.com/staticd....ent.doc The French police do a nice line in on the spot fines! You have been warned!! Don’t forget your passport,E111, travel insurance, arm bands, trunks, bottle opener oh and a tent! Remember that are driving in somebody else’s country so keep the speeds sensible, no swearing and be in bed by 10pm Regards Buzz
Buzz Billsberry
For all those travelling on 10th June. Please note that myself & and Muttley the “chubby chav” with the Burberry V8 will be at the Huntsman Holmfirth this Sunday from 130 HYPERLINK "http://www.the-huntsman-inn.com/" http://www.the-huntsman-inn.com/ to collect your luggage for the support vehicle. The support vehicle will not be in attendance as its still at coach builders having the new snooker table & smoking room installed. The plan is to collect your luggage and myself and Steve will take it all over to Mike’s in Hyde so he can load once he’s got the porn wagon back! The plan is also to have Sunday lunch there and give out the rest of the car stickers See you all Sunday Buzz
