Hi All,

For anyone thinking about fitting widetrack as a winter upgrade later this year then I should have fitted the Caged (Siesmic) widetrack for Harewood.  You're all more than welcome to come and have a nose at it and see what you think.  Having visited the Caged factory, spoken face to face with Phil and heard good reports of their other products, then I am quite happy to pay a bit extra over some of the other ones.

I'll be in a BRG V8 which may still have No 42 on the sides (If I forget to take them off from this weekend).

Darren

Caged (Seismic) wide track now fitted and aligned:

No issues with installation.

Yet to try it in anger and I'm sure that there is some geometry fiddling to be done as I get used to it.

Is this bulk buy still active, or can I 'unpin' it? ???

Seems to be a lack of interest at this stage.  Unpin it for now and I'll look to gather interest for winter upgradeitis 06

Last I heard Caged weren't doing too well.  Don't know if that's the case.  If there's enough interest and they are still going strong then I will happily get back in touch with them.  Their widetrack did me proud all year in 06 and has even survived an intervention with a tyre wall!

Sorry there were two threads running last time it was active.

As Phil says... caged are still manufacturing cages and bits as before... just ditched Caterham chassis manufacture IIRC.

Presume the prices will be the same???

V8 Grunt...

2003 Factory V8 won't have wide track as standard for the factory... I think they only released a factory kit recently. Thus it would have been an upgrade by any previous owner if it is fitted.
