Bean Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 I know what you meant. Follow the links in my post... Wow, didn't realise it was the blades that bent I'll definitely bolt the seat straight to the floor now. Quote
Blatman Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 The threads I linked to also state that it appears a redesign has taken place, but the new blades are now steel and weigh something like 3Kg's. So you can still fit them, but I fail to see the reason why you would want to... Quote

slippy Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 After reading this post and the two Blatters put up bolting to the floor seems the way to go... two questions 1). How do you get the seat level when bolting it direct as the base of the seat is not flat 2). people have mentioned a bracket behind the seat to prevent flexing does anyone have any pics One day i will be able to give advice instead of ask for it Quote
slippy Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Forgot to add if anyone is selling a black narrow body pair I'm your man Quote
Blatman Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 The base of the seat is flat... or at least, flat enough that mounting is no harder than drilling holes and doing up the bolts. The shape of the bit you sit in is nothing like the shape of the external part of the seat... Quote
Blatman Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 2). people have mentioned a bracket behind the seat to prevent flexing does anyone have any pics Page 3 of this thread... Quote

If you have the padded version you can lift the padding slightly and drill holes underneath, that way the bolt heads should be hidden. Quote
