ROC Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Lads, Hope you all have a great day, would have loved to join you but the upgrades are not quite finished, b*******, Will come and spectate at the "testing" evening, Cheers, Rich. Quote
CrashBangWallop Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Speaking of upgrades... ME ENGINE'S IN WooHoo!!!!!!! Yay!!!!! Right on!!!! Quote
markcoopers Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Excellent, only 500+ other things to go Quote
chazpowerslide Posted March 26, 2005 Author Posted March 26, 2005 Roc, you and another have a place reserved at the test evening, so you won't be spectating....................more loke burning rubber.................... Chaz. Quote
ROC Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Nice one Chaz, thanks for that. Have a good un tomorrow Neil, good to hear the engine is in, now the "fun" part starts Rich. Quote
CrashBangWallop Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 I couldn't resist showing a pic before it gets surrounded by much duller colours and polished ali. It matches my aeroscreen quite nicely, I think! Quote
chazpowerslide Posted March 27, 2005 Author Posted March 27, 2005 Now Chris, you may think that Neil moved his headlamps to that position to give him more room to get the motor in and out but I can reveal that they are allways like that. They say that pets take on the look of their owners, in the absence of any pets Neils car has done the same thing Chaz. Quote
Andrew Mills Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 I think the old Stella has had an input with the colour system, it usually makes me fall over, not hallucinate. Andrew Quote
CrashBangWallop Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 I like the Marty Feldman Headlamps As headlamps are supposed to point in the direction of travel, I think they're perfectly placed. I can see myself travelling sideways for a few weeks, until I learn when to put the power down at the correct time :-D Neil Quote
SparkyB Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Cheers for organising a great run Chaz.. Sorry I left in a bit of a hurry... don't think my car liked the run to Holkham...stuff started going wrong Should be ready and sorted for next event though. Mark BTW Any news Chris?? Quote
Mark Stanton Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 My old CVH never looked like that Hope you've had the internals sorted as well Quote
markcoopers Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Nice sunny day today, took me 3 hours to clean the bl**** thing, full of mud/grass and grease bizzarly. Had a bit of a scare when I found a few bolts and washers behind the passenger seat.......but then I remembered I packed a few in the tool kit and these were them. Craking event, shame about Chris, but we'll get you motoring soon mate Liam, the pressures were 12psi, now 18psi and yeah it might feel a bit better Good luck, Mark Quote
