Actually not much faster than the pug but at least it went sideways easily L reg, Allegro estate. Great car. Really!!!! C reg. Nova 1.2L saloon. Amazing sized boot for such a small car. G reg. BX1.6. First family car. Shame it wasn't a GTi 16V H reg. Primera. Boring but practical F reg. triumph herald. Fun but a wreck E reg. Celica. fun if driven like a loony but really a hairdressers car. A reg. Lotus Excel. Reminded me what I was missing with FWD! L reg Saab 9000. Excellent family car. T reg Fiesta 1.2 Zetec. peterg Posted July 15, 2003 Posted July 15, 2003 Mark, I didn't know they made Astras in 1967 BTW: my '64 Imp was registered in Kent and apparently they were using up 'old' reg nos before they started using the suffix system so its number was "2700 D" - wish I'd kept it when I had to scrap the car and no, I didn't buy it from new (I'd have only been 9! )....it cost me £125 in 1972 and the insurance cost £175 tpf&t!!
