As I have just invested in a GT6 it makes me wonder, what was your 1st car?

I'll start - 1973 MkIII Triumph GT6. 2 litre straight six 120bhp+.

Your parents made you sleep outside then then Steve?  ;)  :D

My 1st car  - 1964 Hillman Imp with optional heater  :0  but no fan!  ???  fantastic engine that would rev to about 10k if only it had a tacho fitted! shame the transaxle kept breaking..

2nd car  - 1967 Cortina 1600, engine blew up in Redhill one evening (best thing that happened with it actually)

3rd car - 1973 Vx Viva 2300 (before they called them Magnums) the poor man's RS2000 Escort and IMHO it went better  ;)  always remember getting it sideways 5 up all the way around the roundabout just before Chelsea Bridge on 'cruise' night back in 1977/8ish.... ah memories
