Jan Coombes Posted January 5, 2003 Posted January 5, 2003 We are thinking of getting some half doors made for the Westfield would anyone else be interested? These are ideal if you have no windscreen they keep the cold and wet out (ish) Plus giving you an armrest, for that all-important cruse down the local high street *shown back of the hand* Here is a photo of a c******m one, so you can get the idea. Nick M Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 If you're going to do them will there be different ones for standard and wide bodied cars ? I think the gap between the scuttle and the rear wheel arch is differnet and the bodywork moulding is different. But if you're going to do them then yes, sign me up for a pair for an SEiW. Quote
Graham.J Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 Yup, I'd be interested, providing the cost is right So I'd be looking for ones for a narrow SE Quote
Mickie C Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 Definitely interested in the doors as long they would fit a standard bodied car. Quote
Bananaman Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 Good idea Especially as ther are sooooooo many Areo-screen cars apearing at the moment (thinking of going that way myself soon) Andy Quote
Midds Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 Would not the Catering Van ones fit? could be an alternative? Midds Quote
Jan Coombes Posted January 6, 2003 Author Posted January 6, 2003 The c******m ones are to short. If there is a difference in size between the narrow and wide body cars we can get them made for both. I will get on with it. Lots of people looking very few voting. Come on have your say. Quote
SteveD Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 DON'T WESTFIELD ALLREADY MAKE SUCH AN ITEM I BOUGHT SOME LAST YEAR £100 A PAIR Quote
Jan Coombes Posted January 6, 2003 Author Posted January 6, 2003 They had some on there race cars a while back and I asked if they were for sale they said no, more like run along little boy. I have just rang the factory They do them for the wide ONLY (wow tell me something new) and they are £240 but you have to order them. So I rang c******m to get a idea of the price £90 each and they are in stock. The work KMACS comes to mind. Quote
Bananaman Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 £240.00 for 1/2 doors full doors are only £266.74 Surely 1/2 doors should be £133.37 Andy Quote
Mark Stanton Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 Wide body version would be nice - black Quote
