National Drive Your Westfield to Work Day (week) 2025: The 10th Anniversary Edition!

Can you believe it is a decade already? 🎂

 

For the 10th year in a row, May the 24th is the official National Drive Your Westfield to Work Day, which contrary to the title is actually a week where we encourage you to leave the normal daily driver at home and experience driving the Westfield to your place of work, raising smiles on both your face, and those who join you in the daily drudge.

 

Of course, some of you may no longer frequently travel to a place of work (lucky you!) so like previous years, you can also get creative and get a picture of yourself with your Westfield!  A selfie, a picture taken by a member of your family...  as long as it is a previously unposted recent picture, everything is submittable!

 

You have the week from the 19th to the 25th to participate 👍

 

Have a look at previous years: 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018 and 2017 for inspiration.  Sadly I can find nothing for the 1st year, 2016, so you just have to take my word for it .

As the week has come to an end, managed to get out of the house to run a small errand.

 

 

 

I am now going to retire from organising this, and welcome anyone who wishes this to continue to pick up the reigns.  If not, well, it was good runnings!

Likewise, I am ‘house bound’ currently and didn’t go in. Been tough/impossible to get out this week. TBF I did make a significant effort last year!!! Would be good to see it continue.

I could never take part as the work car park wasn't secure enough to leave the Westfield and I car shared with someone who "wouldn't fit" in it.

I've now retired, so technically don't work any more. But I did take it in on my last day.

I think I have driven mine to work more than anywhere else so far.  

I work somewhere with a gate so it's probably safer there than at home. Rain and mechanical issues have prevented me from driving it more.
