Gifts from the public make a huge difference to the care and treatment that The Christie is able to provide to both patients and their families.. Bagpuss is running for The Christie

Donated mate. It's a longish-winded process but well worth supporting and I'm impressed you can do that Ian, I wouldn't get half a mile let alone half a marathon done!

It will be my 31st 1/2 marathon race and my 4th Great Manchester run. it's not the best of routes (bland Manchester industrial areas, with few spectators), but I'm always amazed at the kind donations I get for an amazing charity. Sometimes from people who've received amazing care from the Cristie. These personal memories really pull me through and humble my attempts at this race.

It is, until you realise that "Ian" is a fake name and he's been wanted by the authorities for some time now, so he's used to running far and fast.
