Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I'd really appreciate kind sponsorship for this event- Most people will know someone who has been touched by cancer and The Christie charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. Gifts from the public make a huge difference to the care and treatment that The Christie is able to provide to both patients and their families.. Bagpuss is running for The Christie Quote

Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO Posted March 16 Author Posted March 16 Thanks for the kind and generous sponsorship @Paul Hurdsfield - Joint Manchester AO I really appreciate it! I'm still way off my target, so if anyone else has some spare pennies, they'd be greatly appreciated. 2 Quote

It's a longish-winded process but well worth supporting and I'm impressed you can do that Ian, I wouldn't get half a mile let alone half a marathon done! 1 Quote
Flying Carrot Steve Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I'll send the link to our local WSCC WhatsApp group too Ian. Quote

Many thanks @Flying Carrot Steve for your kind donation and also for encouraging others. It will be my 31st 1/2 marathon race and my 4th Great Manchester run. it's not the best of routes (bland Manchester industrial areas, with few spectators), but I'm always amazed at the kind donations I get for an amazing charity. Sometimes from people who've received amazing care from the Cristie. These personal memories really pull me through and humble my attempts at this race. 2 Quote
