After getting no reply to contacting them about my gel coat tub, I just thought I’d go ahead and order. I did that Friday and just had a text to say delivery tommorw so that’s really positive to hear :)

Unfortunately the saga of poor service continues. @Westfield Chesil Limited

I'm still waiting for the side screens which I ordered in early July, had various excuses and missed deadlines, now they should be with me 'in a couple of weeks'.

Probably arrive just in time for SORN.

The latest problem is with my order for an alternator bracket. I spoke with parts staff on Tuesday morning, who confirmed that the part was in stock and I could receive it by the following day. Needless to say I've not heard anything more and when I've called today, the office is closed and all I could do is leave an answer phone message. I've had to cancel a run today and feel like I'm hitting my head off a brick wall.

I just don't understand how some people seem to get their orders very quickly, but I have to through all this pain and hassle.

Very disappointing when you've been told the item is in stock and they know you're likely to be off the road without it!

Yes, I made it clear during the phone call that the car was now off the road.

I've just been sent confirmation that the item will the collected by UPS today, for delivery I'm not sure when. :(

I have asked for some clarification on the whole matter, especially as I paid extra to expedite the delivery.

Had to cancel my run today.

So far it's 3 orders and 3 **** ups, not a great record.

It feels disloyal to say it, but I'm thinking that anyone building something should order any Westfield Chesil only parts that they need as soon as possible.

Emailed them multiple times since a couple of weeks for an order to be shipped overseas, never got a reply. Unfortunately it isn't possible to order from the website directly when shipping abroad.

I did get something in the past when they run the clearance sale post acquisition, got a prompt reply back then, not sure if there is something going on at the moment.

Well my sidescreens have finally arrived, a wee bit later than the original ETA of 22nd July.

Unfortunately though, there was no fitting kit included! 🤬

Pretty maddening really as I highlighted the matter back on 12th July when bizarrely a partial fitting kit arrived by UPS. I've repeated my concerns about the fitting kit many times both verbally and email, but it was always brushed aside and assured that a full fitting kit would be included.

Had hoped to use them on a run on Saturday.

After reading some of the comments on here, i ordered my sidescreens off ebay.

Roughly same price, full fitting kit included. Arrived about a week after ordering.

Fitting was a bit tricky as no holes are pre drilled. But you do get a sample of the material in the kit to test your drilling techique.

After trying with westfield parts dept in the past, and also the prices, i tend to shop around in the first instance.

Yeah the wind deflectors, I got the Ebay ones too. No these are the sidescreen/doors at £680.

Trying really hard to be civil about them, but it's difficult. There are other items I'd want, like the exhaust heat shield for example, but there's no way I'd go through all this hassle again.

Ah, i misunderstood, and wow £680.

I would be looking for the heatshield elsewhere
