Greenstreak-Andy D Posted January 19, 2024 Posted January 19, 2024 Just had an email from MSV saying the booking and tickets are now open and taking bookings. New this year is the request for a four digit code to represent the car club you wish to apply for. I assume WSCC will be there. Anyone available for comment? @Marcus Barlow - Show and Events Co-ordinator can you confirm if the club will be in attendance? Thanks Andy Quote
Marcus Barlow - Show and Events Co-ordinator Posted January 19, 2024 Posted January 19, 2024 Hi @Greenstreak-Andy D thanks for the heads up - I have not attended this event personally to date but believe @John Dolan - Wirral & North Wales AO helped organise a club pitch in 2023? Where/by who were you asked for the code? please let me know Ill try to sort one 👍 Quote
Greenstreak-Andy D Posted January 20, 2024 Author Posted January 20, 2024 Thanks @Marcus Barlow - Show and Events Co-ordinator, I know John has been involved in previous years. After logging into MSV this is what I came across….. Never had that previously. Any help appreciated Thanks Andy Quote
John Dolan - Wirral & North Wales AO Posted January 20, 2024 Posted January 20, 2024 Hi guys, I’ve applied for a club permit. When approved I’ll send out the code for members to book tickets. Unfortunately tickets are no longer free but we do get a 50% discount. The Gold Cup is one of the best Oulton Park events, the club has had a presence at the meeting for the last 15 years. Always popular. John. Apologies to Marcus, should have kept you informed. 🫣 4 Quote

MGG Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 ok thanks - its a bit far for me to "commute" but will look at overnight options, Quote
John Dolan - Wirral & North Wales AO Posted January 22, 2024 Posted January 22, 2024 The Westfield presence at the Gold Cup is organised by the local area, Wirral and North Wales. This year it's being opened up to the wider areas. Unfortunately there are no local hostelries that we know of, or can recommend, as most members are local and commute daily. Easy for us. Google is your friend, good luck. It will be worth it, a truly fab event. 4 Quote
John Dolan - Wirral & North Wales AO Posted January 26, 2024 Posted January 26, 2024 The WSCC account for booking tickets is 9341. This entitles you to a 50% discount, the 3 day package is good value. Also allows you to display your car on the Wirral and North Wales stand. Fab event, don't miss this one. 2 Quote

I'll know where to go then. See you all there MOT allowing. Luckily there's also the Cheshire club meets in-between times. S2RRR 1 Quote
John Dolan - Wirral & North Wales AO Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 Our plot will be overlooking Cascades, as in previous years. Hoping for a good turn out and good weather. Tea, coffee and cakes will be available. 1 Quote
