My 2 favourite photo's

We called in to Malham on the Saturday and walked to Malham Cove, the RSPB were there with their telescopes and we were able to view a male and a female Peregrin Falcon. I tapped them for a photo while we were there.

This morning we drove past Bamburgh Castle after visiting Holy Island

What an amazing time you all must have had and what an adventure.  Makes us wish we had gotten our car years ago.  Looking forward to joining future trips.

A superb trip, and a great weekend - like all these sorts of things, as fantastic as the roads and scenery are, it's the people that make it. And that's something the WSCC family excels at!

Day 2

On the Hartside Pass Summit

DSC05640.JPG

Marcus found a little bikers cafe called The Nook for refreshment just after the summit, we had the luxury of a real, actual, porcelin toilet!

DSC05649.JPG

Next stop was the Scotland/England border viewpoint, back to no porcelin

The End

We all divided up just leaving us and Andy and Becky, so after a boring A1 and M1 session we peeled off at J36 to take the fantastic Mortimer Road to The Strines Inn where we had tea. Very reluctant to finish the holiday we kissed goodbye

What an amazing trip, I've been following it on here, Facebook and Instagram every day, such amazing photos!

I'm going to have to stick this in the diary for 2025 if I can find a brave passenger 😂

Our Westie managed 12 miles before trouble hit. 100 odd miles from home, scrambling around to sort car, dash home and hop into Ali’s Abarth. Drove straight back up and back on route. Great weekend despite the set back. Home now, grey washed out of hair and busy ordering new parts. IMG_2245.thumb.jpeg.8e54f86174faf84392e0d729aafc2319.jpeg
