Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 Always amazing how much better still, they look when the jewellery starts to go back on!
KugaWestie Posted December 29, 2020 Author Posted December 29, 2020 That’s the front lights all refitted and reconnected
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted December 29, 2020 Posted December 29, 2020 I can't remember, were you going for the bumpers/over/riders, too, or just the stripped back look?

I am not a fan of the bumpers/over riders/quick lifts so will be keeping it pretty much as it is with just the addition of some grilles in the apertures
KugaWestie Posted December 30, 2020 Author Posted December 30, 2020 I have also made a start on fitting grilles to the front of the car. Both of the small openings either side of the nose are done.
KugaWestie Posted January 7, 2021 Author Posted January 7, 2021 Front grilles complete now I also refitted the washer jets and connected them up. Still need to sort out the aim on them when the washer bottle gets filled up
KugaWestie Posted January 7, 2021 Author Posted January 7, 2021 Yesterday this happened GULP, better get my finger out!
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted January 7, 2021 Posted January 7, 2021 Brilliant news! Extra motivation, as if any were needed!

I kind of figured that things might be a bit slow in the system at present with all the lockdowns going on. I am not even sure they are still testing at the moment!
CarbonWest - Chris Broster - Bristol & Bath AO Posted January 8, 2021 Posted January 8, 2021 A truly amazing build and the final transformations are exponential! Really loving the attention to detail and balance of the parts to car. And for anyone that says you can't build in a single garage...!
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted January 8, 2021 Posted January 8, 2021 Can’t wait to see it with the interior trimmed!

Its a struggle at times but having the lift really really helps, one of my best purchases that was.
