That is a work of art, and a thing of beauty!  Fantastic stuff.  Fancy a bit of GRP work on a pair of over-wide wheel arches?

During the day I had to turn the car around to work on the passenger side. So I could not resist any longer and put the refurbed wheels on the drivers side before turning it around. The car is sitting high at present as I have got the suspension wound right up.

Put mud tires, safari cars are in fashion right now 😄

Looking really good. Am I the only one who thinks the grey primer is far from unattractive?

I thought it was Powder Blue, and I agree that it looks really good!

Add bright orange trim for the full ASBO look 👍😁

It's frankly hard to believe how good it looks now considering where it came from.

Mine was a dark blue - I liked it. A deep metallic would look nice, if not very 'original'.

Rear suspension radius arms cleaned, knackered bushes removed, new ones pushed in and then prepped ready for POR15 paint

Door card ply panels made from my CAD templates. They just need some push fit trim fixing clips fitting and then they are good for covering.

Really starting to come together now you’re out of bodywork, more or less!

I have been fiddling around with the wiper motor assembly today, no photos of that. The motor position is decided and I have routed the drive wire through the bulkhead as well as cutting the bund tube to lengths and flaring the ends. All painstakingly slow and awkward access but the hard work is done.

For a change of scenery I have started to trim the boot.

What an amazing difference even just the bulkhead makes, to the car!
