I got it second hand for a great price.

It is an earlier version of this one

The only difference is mine needs compressed air to release the safety locks

Thanks, if looks a really useful piece of kit for the task.

Thanks Mark.

Yes I hope it lives up to my expectations. I am sure it will prove invaluable. It’s a very robust bit of kit

I have started sanding the rear arch alteration down this afternoon using the DA. It’s a job to see from the photos but basically I have mostly been feathering the edges.

A lot of filling and sanding I guess now, and constantly comparing near side and offside profiles, to keep them matching.

Yep, it’s going to be a long journey!

And I was always told you can’t make a silk purse from a sows ear 😀

Looking good Gary, bet you can’t wait to get some primer on there to see how it’s looking!

😂

Primer is a long way off.

So far I have just gone over it with 80 grit in the DA.

I think I will do this for the whole back end and then start looking at filling the reshaped arch to make it look the same as the other side

I've been doing something similar this week at work, narrowing a 5 passenger seat by 15mm.

Another hour of sanding tonight got the boot done, half of the drivers side rear arch wing panel and 75% of the rear bulkhead.

Body side vents turned up today, they have gone into stock for now as fitting them is a long way off!
