Wow  you must be really pleased with that.  Did you make the parts yourself or have them made ?

I'd like to make a 3 piece column for my westie as it runs very close to the exhaust, but no idea where to go to have parts made.

I made up the mounting brackets and then did one weld on the column assembly

I made up the front exhaust mounting tonight

Then I drilled out my dash template holes and dropped in the speedo and rev counter.

i need to rethink my smaller instruments layout as things are a little tight. The two outer ones need to be moved sideways and down a bit, the two lower ones need moving outwards a bit. That's what templates are for though!

A reverse speedo.

That will take some getting used to.

Do you have room for a row of 4 at the bottom quite few cobras have that layout, having said that they all look great .

Looking good  cant wait to see the body on.

Does it mean the car will go faster in reverse?

I have a couple of other ideas as well that I think I will layout on some paper/cardboard first.

One being the five smaller instruments in a V pattern which would make room for warning lamps in the centre of all the gauges

No photos from tonight's little jobs. Front exhaust mount brackets removed, cleaned and sprayed. I then made up a speed sensor mounting bracket and sprayed that.

I will refit both over the weekend.

Front exhaust mount bracket fitted today, as well as the speed sensor, which will need adjusting when the weight is off the wheels and I can spin the prop

I also fitted my lambda sensor in one of the exhaust pipes and fitted a bung in the other pipe. At least when the time is right I will be able to see what is going on with each bank.

Your choice obviously! Personally prefer your latest dash layout, got a "classic" appearance I think.
